Combined company to be world’s largest mobile advertising exchange

Amobee Media Systems (www.amobee.com), the world leader in advertising solutions for mobile operators, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the world’s largest mobile advertising agency, RingRing Media (www.ringringmedia.com). The acquisition brings Amobee one step closer to fulfilling its long-term vision aimed at creating the industry’s largest mobile advertising exchange dedicated to connecting publishers, advertising agencies and brands to premium inventory in real-time, on a global scale. Amobee’s customers include some of the largest mobile operator networks, including Telefonica SA (NYSE: TEF) and Vodafone Group PLC (NASDAQ: VOD).

Based in London and co-founded by industry veterans Ben Tatton-Brown and Media Week Rising Star of the Year, Harry Dewhirst, RingRing Media has earned a world-wide reputation as a leader in mobile advertising, representing some of the largest brands in the world and exchanging over 4 billion impressions per month.

With this strategic move, Amobee is complementing its rich, operator-centric inventory and portfolio of services and technology with RingRing Media’s revolutionary mobile advertising exchange. RingRing Exchange is the world’s first mobile advertising platform dedicated to connecting top tier mobile advertisers, media buying agencies and local and global ad networks with leading mobile publishers, operators and application developers to maximize yield for sellers and improve campaign performance and ROI.

“This acquisition solves an industry issue. By leveraging the RingRing Exchange we are able to streamline the process and connect supply and demand using the best technology on the market,” said Zohar Levkovitz, co-founder and CEO of Amobee. “In doing so, we will be able to reduce the friction associated with today’s mobile media buying and offer a more integrated mobile advertising experience to our customers.”

As a result of the acquisition, Amobee will make it easier for mobile advertisers and mobile publishers to co-exist, helping sellers monetize mobile display inventory and giving buyers advanced targeting tools to access the broadest possible reach at the best possible price through one single buy.

“Both Ben and Harry have a proven track record of building highly effective global mobile advertising businesses, and now Amobee will benefit from the skill and passion they bring. We are thrilled that they will continue to lead RingRing Media and help us to deliver even more intelligent advertising solutions in the future,” added Levkovitz.

“Amobee saw value in our people, technology and a deep understanding of the market,” explained co-founder Ben Tatton-Brown of RingRing Media who will remain Managing Director of RingRing Media. “Amobee and RingRing Media make an excellent match creating a gold-standard end-to-end mobile advertising solution that enables brands, advertising agencies and publishers to achieve the greatest return from mobile.”

Amobee’s acquisition of RingRing Media expands its global presence by establishing a London hub that provides a direct foothold in multiple regions, strengthening Amobee’s global position delivering enhanced services in key territories such as the United States, Europe, Latin America and Asia. As a result, Amobee and RingRing Media customers will now have access to the RingRing Exchange to seamlessly facilitate mobile advertising.

“We will continue to acquire adjacent companies, to build the world’s largest mobile advertising player. On the heels of the honor bestowed on us by the World Economic Forum as a Technology Pioneer, our acquisition strategy helps expand our global footprint and is just one example of how we plan to continue our rapid growth,” said Levkovitz. “Over the past four years we have been behind some of the largest mobile advertising implementations in the world, such as Vodafone and Telefónica, becoming the most widely adopted mobile advertising platform in the industry. Our recent purchase underlines our promise to continue to create and spin out technology solutions that not only add value, but offer the best and broadest options available on the market.”

The acquisition is subject to certain closing conditions and is expected to be completed in the first quarter.

Independent mobile advertising agency RingRing Media, today announced that it has quadrupled its mobile search spend following impressive campaign results.

RingRing Media, which specialises in planning and buying mobile advertising and search campaigns, has already booked substantial volumes of search this year through Yahoo! and Google. This includes buying search terms across Yahoo!’s mobile advertising network and its on portal directory links on both Vodafone and Three, as well as on

Google Mobile.

RingRing Media’s team of search specialists manage campaigns in real-time, optimizing creative and search terms to deliver total campaign efficiency across thousands of keywords, achieving click-through rate of up to 16 per cent. However, conversion rates have peaked at over 110 per cent, generating tens of thousands of content downloads at an unprecedented cost per acquisition.

Based on the success of its search business, RingRing Media’s clients are now attributing much more of their mobile advertising budgets to search.

Matt White, Head of Mobile Sales, Yahoo! UK said: “Sponsored search on the mobile allows brands and content companies to reach their customers on the move with a direct call to action, offering huge potential for product engagement. Mobile search is a core focus for Yahoo! and through our Yahoo! oneSearch™ partnerships, we provide search for 80% of the total UK mobile search population via operator portals – offering advertisers a huge opportunity to reach their key audiences. This reach, coupled with

RingRing Media’s expertise in mobile buying and planning, has delivered impressive results.”

Harry Dewhirst, Co-Founder, RingRing Media, added: “There is a huge opportunity for companies that offer great D2C content to benefit from all forms of mobile advertising.

The successful search campaigns we manage really exemplify how a specialist company like RingRing Media can deliver real bang-for-buck when it comes to client’s mobile ad spend.”

I’AM aggregates multiple ad networks to maximise mobile ad revenue for publishers.

Independent mobile agency RingRing Media, today announced the launch of ‘I’AM’, the mobile industry’s first mobile advertising network optimisation platform which connects publishers to the largest possible pool of advertisers.

I’AM integrates with a broad range of local and global mobile ad networks (including Admob, Adshandy, Mkhoj and BuzzCity), automatically routing traffic to the most relevant ad network which is achieving the highest revenue for that particular user, handset and demographic.

Typically mobile publishers appoint an ad network to serve ads into their mobile site.

I’AM blows this model wide open, dynamically segmenting and routing traffic to the highest yielding ad network to provide publishers with 100 per cent fill rates, way above the industry average.

Integration with I’AM is simple. Publishers including Moblr, Taptu, Wapedia and

Mobikade have already signed up to the I’AM platform which has optimised over 100 millions ads since launch, across 80 territories and thousands of handsets.

Harry Dewhirst, Co-Founder of RingRing Media, commented: “Our vision of mobile advertising 2.0 is dynamically selecting from a pool of ads the most targeted and highest revenue generating ad for a specific user.

“With the launch of I’AM I believe we have fulfilled this vision, creating a platform which creates a win-win situation for ad network, advertiser, publisher and user alike.”

Christophe Hocquet, CEO of mobile social networking site Moblr commented: “Having previously worked with Google’s Mobile Ad Sense, our new partnership with RingRing

Media’s I’AM platform has transformed mobile advertising from a hobby to a viable business prospect for Moblr, helping us to turn our mobile inventory into money at a much faster pace than with any other individual ad provider’.

Independent mobile advertising agency, RingRing Media, today announced that it has already booked well over one million dollars worth of search and display mobile advertising for its clients, since its launch just four months ago in June.

The mobile buying and planning agency runs both low risk, performance based advertising campaigns on a cost per click basis, constantly monitoring campaign performance and fine tuning it to deliver unrivalled click through rates as well as CPM campaigns on all of the tier one trusted mobile advertising networks.

The news comes on the back of RingRing Media’s recent launch of its flagship product, I’AM, the mobile industry’s first mobile advertising network optimization platform.

Matt White, head of mobile at Yahoo said: “RingRing Media fills an important niche in the mobile advertising space. The company is one of the few agencies that completely understands the market and its potential to create a unique and personalised advertising experience for users.

“In its first four months the company has risen to become one of our most important and valued partners.”

Ben Tatton-Brown, Co-founder and Managing Director, RingRing Media, said: “The mobile advertising industry is experiencing phenomenal growth with both increasing numbers of advertisers understanding the potency of the mobile device and increasing numbers of publishers understanding the value of their own inventory.

“Passing the one million dollar mark in such a short space of time indicates that RingRing Media and our I’AM platform has cemented its place in the mobile ad ecosystem by providing a much needed service to our clients and also helping suppliers sell their inventory.”

RingRing Media founders, Ben Tatton-Brown and Harry Dewhirst bring over 15 years of mobile and advertising experience to the newly formed mobile agency having both worked for companies including US search and advertising giant, Medio Systems.

The company’s goal is to help brands and advertisers make sense of the fragmented mobile advertising space, delivering a dynamic media buying service based on the right mix of mobile search, on and off-portal advertising and via its international mobile ad-network partners including: Admob, Google, Yahoo, Ad Infuse, Millennial Media, and Screentonic.

“There is a real need in today’s mobile advertising market for professional and experienced mobile media agencies that can advise brands on their mobile advertising budgets” said cofounder and RingRing Media MD, Ben Tatton-Brown. “We are an independent mobile media agency that buys mobile advertising where it works best for our clients. We make sure that mobile ads deliver. .”

Over its first four months of trading, RingRing Media has already purchased more than 300 million adverts for clients such as Moblr, Blue Whale Mail, 123play.com and AB Phone and has doubled its revenue growth month on month since launching in May of this year.

RingRing Media has dedicated account managers optimising mobile advertising budgets by booking space on inventory according to strict parameters. More than this, RingRing Media monitors and analyses advertising performance daily, adjusting campaigns according to this data, deepening the optimisation process and delivering the best possible ad-spend value to its clients.

With the global mobile advertising market predicted to grow to £6 Billion within the next three years, RingRing Media is ideally positioned to trade in a growing market, bringing brands and advertisers to the screen in the pocket.

Harry Dewhirst, co-founder and Media Director at RingRing Media said: “We eliminate the disparity by giving our clients a unique view across all mobile channels so they can visually analyse their campaign performance efficiently. By tracking spend against campaign objectives – for example sales, calls, sign-ups or downloads -we are able to assess which media is performing best and focus our account management resources accordingly.”
